				Hi,

I would like to know if anyone else has installed a dash cam, and if so, where do you route the wires? Mine is powered by a usb connector which is powered by the 12v cig lighter slot.
 Any guides or suggestions?

 Regards,
 Ash

From the fuse box via pillar/roof to around the mirror. Just find unlive free fuse, or use inline fuse.
-
ebay  253544154564 tap into lighter wiring under ash tray. Wire coat hanger to pass the cable through dash.
Up A pillar and along screen
A pillar can be  removed to hide the cable or get some sticky cable guides.
Cable can be pushed under the A pillar trim but this WILL hinder the air bag
I removed the A trim and used butyl to fix the cable in place Will NOT move.
Double sided tape may do just the same job
Push the cable under the headlining with a trim tool  All done
Just replaced my dash cam as the  old one was starting to fail
Still had to install new cable with new camera  :rolleye:

Does this interfere with the airbag?

Is there any other way to do it without messing with the airbag?

sorry for late response. You can tuck the cable under the rubber seal running up the A pillar
