A few days ago all of a sudden my boot stopped closing.
For a few days I have ratcheted it secure. I bought a replacement latch off eBay for £25.
I am not very mechanical so a friend fitted the replacement.
At first the new one operated fine, the clicking noise was a little slower than the original.
However after about 20 goes the new one stopped working.. the latch wouldn’t lock, just like the original one.. any tips ? I really don’t fancy going to a main dealer to fix if I can avoid. Thanks
