Title: Possible mechatronics?? Please help :(
Post by: Ben08GtTdi on April 17, 2018, 05:24:02 pm
Hi guys, looking for some help. I have a Golf Mk5 gt tdi 140 dsg on 67k miles now. Gearbox is hesitant/jerky when coming to a stop like it wants to stall with sometimes a slight crunch aswel. Also sometimes a slight knock going from P-D-R. Pulling away, acceleration, and normal gear change all fine. I had a DSG service 2 months ago and hasn’t made much of a difference and no faults found. This issue is driving me mad and just want some help if it definatly  is the mechatronics unit or something else? And if so what’s the best way on getting it replaced?

Any help is much appreciated, Thanks

Get a full scan of all modules, and post it here - after deleting the last four VIN digits.
