Title: Does the mk5 and mk2 TT use the same suspension?
Post by: Bodyboarder81 on May 08, 2018, 04:43:20 pm
Hi all ...

Just wondering if the Audi mk2 TT ( specifically ttrs ) use the same suspension mounting points ect as the the mk5 . The dampers and springs interchangeable ?

Thanks

It should be since the mk2 / 8J shares the same PQ35 chassis though the mk5 settings may not work as well due to the extra @150kg the TTRS carries. Quite a few TTRS have adaptive dampers and a decent spring kit like MSS could be a good option.

Yes the mss kit has been highly recommended  :happy2:

Jkm actually helped develop the springs

Not Test driven one yet but they seem to fit what I’m after .....

Have the ohlins and was hoping to use them on the ttrs if I get one ...  probably won’t work though , as you’ve stated due to the weight difference
