Hey guys,
Past couple days been smelling fuel only on my drivers side door area but only after driving, can’t see any visible leaks under the car and can’t even smell it when I’m under the car just when I’m around the doorway to get in/out of the car.
Any ideas what it could be before I take it down the garage to be looked into?
Cheers in advance.

Does yours have the evap charcoal canister? If so...look into that as the source of the smell of fuel and how to fix. Not sure myself because mine doesn't have it...but I remember people posting about it.
I wonder if your leak detection pump has a leak in its hose. It is mounted just inside the rear passenger side panel, behind your seat; https://www.urotuning.com/Leak-Detection-Pump-Mk5-Mk6-Golf-Jetta-p/1k0906201d.htm

Not sure if this is the same but my octavia vrs. Had the fuel lines running down the drivers side and also an inline fuel filter underneath the rear door behind drivers seat. Maybe a leak here?
