Title: Ramair induction kit

Just installed a Ramair cold air filter system on my GTI. The rubber ‘U’ strip that you put on the cradle part of the heat shield to protect the pipes came off while putting it all together and are virtually impossible to get back on. Has anyone else fitted this kit and had the same problem? Will it really matter if I leave them off or will this cause me problems down the line?

Try abit of vaseline dude best i found with stubourn rubbers like motorbike carbs ect ;)
