I just wanted to double check that the front wings on the mk5 are the same through the mk5 range

Thanks bud, i was 99% sure they were all the same shape and fitting with them only difference being paint code and it they have the side repeaterlights. I just mean the mk5 golf not estates of other like that.

About to go pick up a set for both my sides yay no more rust. Think i will coat them in some anti rust stuff.

You got any tips on anything else i should do to help combat the rust coming, i remember reading about the sponge thingy being cut back a bit.

Get rid of the foam and rub back any rust on inside rust treat and waxoyl

i managed to get a set of almost new already painted that came of a car my age so blend in nice they are 2 weeks old got them for £125 for the pair so no rust at all.

Should i not just be trimming th foam down as it does have a use to stop the rattling of parts together.

Left my foam out, struggle to see what it does except cause rust  :rolleye:
