Title: Tyre pressure warning light
Post by: stealthwolf on June 09, 2018, 09:03:58 pm
Popped down to AKS a few days ago for a service and got them to do wheel alignment too. As I drove home, the low tyre pressure warning light came on. Stopped, checked the pressures (all okay) and reset the sensors. Immediately the light came back on.

The car drove fine the 80 or so miles back home and there's no evidence of a flat tyre. VCDS shows no errors. But I still can't get rid of the low tyre pressure warning light.

Any suggestions?

I recently had something similar and it turned out that I had a nail in the tyre which only leaked air when the tyre got hot (and air pressure increased) on motorway runs.

I also had same issue a few weeks ago. Try putting a little more air in each tyre, then letting it back out to the correct pressure then reset. That’s what I done to clear it and it worked.
