Hi guys great forum just wondering if you could help me I own a small bespoke company specializing in VW Camper interiors im on the hunt for the MK5 Golf GTI Tartan cloth to use on our camper seats and beds I love the stuff but cant get it for love no money and I have some great suppliers but no luck would love to trim my MK3 caddy seats in Tartan to. :wink

I think RedRobin maybe able to help as he has had some re-trimming done and investigated getting this fabric. :happy2:

The Mk5 GTI tartan cloth is called Interlagos and is already foam(?) backed. I sourced mine from here : -

Heres my little caddy im working on for myself touran front end,smothes bumpers,colour coded all black plastics,coilovers,rooco alloys, its getting there slowly dam money pit

I would love to let you but I dont build to sell I only convert customers vans and I dont think they would be very happy.haha

Yeh its getting there im in the market for another MK3 Caddy for a pickup project, were going to cut the back of flare the arches,wide BBS rims,air ride and so on should be a cool lil pick up when done :happy2:

That's a coincidence - A mate of mine is in the same business of converting VDub Transporters etc and the works van is also a modded Caddy - It has my original Mk5 GTI 'tartan' seats in it as I got Recaro's.

Nice work  :drinking:

I hope MJ can get you as much as 100m - It's not a common material AFAIK.
