Hi all

Now the tc light is on permanently even after a longish drive
I plugged diagnostics in and cleared the codes for steering sensor but is still on ??

Did you hammer seven shades of sh*t out of the knuckle to break the tie rod end free? Electric racks really don't like that. You could try disconnecting the battery for an hour and try again.
An hour, yeah I know, sounds weird, but then so are the electronics in these cars. After a quick battery disconnect/reconnect on mine, the driver's side door module stopped working. After digging around the looms and changing fuses etc, leaving the battery disconnected for an hour fixed it. Or if you're brave, try a capactive discharge by touching the battery wires together, then pop back onto the battery. That forces the 30-60 minute gradual discharge thing.

I had to grind the bolt off. Never had a fight with it as such ?
I’ll have to try disconnecting the battery tomorrow

Sorted. After driving to work for 2 days it’s turned itself off :driver:
