Hi I need 2 new valves for my bbs monza hollowbacks 2 18s vw want silly money, are these one on eBay the same. 8mm 42mm long.

Post by: Octoparrot on July 01, 2018, 10:47:21 pm: I'm not sure they'll fit, I found with aftermarket valves the threaded portion that sticks into the inside of the wheel isn't long enough so the other bit the holds the valve in place can't pick up on the thread, unfortunately I think you'll have the stump up for ones from VW, I tried searching for alternative sources but had to admit defeat in the end, luckily I got a set of the later wheels that use the normal rubber valves.

Local vw want £21+vat each, so £16 for 4 would have been a saving.

The only info I could find on the monza ones was 8x46mm

Can they not be overhauled at all, new seals fitted?
