Hi All,
May not be able to tell from pictures but my 06 GT TDI was bruised during a collision yesterday, what do you think?

Hi mate I'd say yes . One of my calipers burst spraying brake fluid on the wing and door and the insurance company said if I was to clime they would probably write it off

TDI''s are pretty much worthless these days anyways. I would either knock it out yourself and live with it or scrap it.

Not my doing so hopefully won’t impact my insurance.
Chap come out today and said it’s repairable but insurance are likely to write off due to cost.

You could take the money, and then buy it back. There are new categories in place now (- used to be C,D, for low damage, but try google), but could get it at a good price......Worth thinking about?

If the car is mechanical good and does get wrote of then buy it back and get it repaired
