Title: Boost/power issue

Hello all!

My GTi has been sat on the drive for a couple of months due to work/not getting chance to drive it. Got in it today and It seems as if it has lost boost/power. Also sometimes (mainly after start up) at about 3/4000 rpm it jumps back down to 1000 for a split second and the car jerks.

Any ideas please?

Do the basics first, such as a fault code scan and inspection of the dump valve  :happy2:

Boost likely DV valve.

Jerking around 3-4K could be misfire. Does the engine light flicker?
