Title: Front exhaust bracket hanger

Hello all,

Caught a speed bump today and it didn’t sound too good underneath! Can now hear a knocking noise.

Can see clearly it’s because the exhaust bracket has now become disconnected from the front hanger. Both parts pulled out of the bushes on the hanger.

Stupid question..is it just a case of pushing this back in or will this be quite tough and need a special tool?

Can’t post the picture on here yet!

Any help appreciated.

You can push the hanger back in. Some silicon spray will make it easier.  If the bushes are split or looking tired, I would get a new one.  Only £13 from VW.
