I keep an eye on the uk market, and this popped up.

What's really interesting is that it has the lovely euro option seats.
Thought all uk edition 35s had leather mandated no option.?
I have never seen a uk reg car with them before.
There were 3 types of seats available for edition 35. But not all markets had all 3 options available.
Is this an import then? Or maybe retro fitted?
Absolutely gorgeous imo

So has this been going around on trade plates for 28,000 miles? trying to figure how it gets to that without ever being registered for the road. Import so 'first UK keeper'?
Agreed though, the seats do look nice.
-
Possibly imported from Cyprus though obviously nonsense for the seller to suggest it has had no owners given that it is seven years old and covered 28k miles.
-
Weird. MOT check says registered 23/09/11 but only a single mot on 7/9/18.
Agreed that it looks a nice place to sit, though!

Personally I would walk away from this and look for another one.

Plenty of others to look at. One with a full history even with higher miles would be better :driver:

seller has zero feedback, no other items for sale yet dealer like pics of the car. hmm.
-
Agreed it's not a car I would touch with digging very carefully.
I just absolutely love the non leather option seats on the 35, the one thing I feel it misses coming from an edition 30.
I'm becoming an edition 35 nerd

I've seen a couple of late Mk5's pop up on e-bay that have originated from Japan.
Wonder is this was sourced from the same country. Would go some ways to explain the low mileage and the Kph speedo.......

Quite possibly a Jap import. I’m in New Zealand and we get loads of Japanese imports here. The spec on them is usually fairly high and the condition of the paint is also usually impeccable. They have many concrete roads in Japan I’m led to believe and as such the cars have almost no stone chips.
The half leather seats are common here on both imports and New Zealand new cars.
