As subject really.
Looking for spec on the frequency response of the mid-range driver. Toying with running the OEM mid-range with my new 2-ways......
If it's the same sort of response, it might add something - don't know until I try it!!
Thoughts? Anybody done it?

I wouldn't do it. It will probably be crap and you'll have to think about crossovers. The speakers that you buy will have crossovers suited to the drivers.
The strongest piece of advice is sound deadening. I wil be stripping it down again as it sounds like speakers in biscuit tins. I'm fitting this stuff:

Cheers Jal,
I've already got a load of sound-deadening stuff (have a look at my build post in "Members Projects" ), I'm actually thinking of a deeper driver for the mid range (running it in parallel with the new driver)..... just an experiment really!
I'm also playing with some different sound treatment
Next thing is to get the car prepped. Shame about the sh1tty weather.
