As above does anyones 2.0T do this with an aftermarket exhust? Mine doesnt and I havent come across any that do either, but I was just wondering why not as the focus RS, vxrs etc all do and just wanted to know if there was a technical reason behind it!

My APR does it a lot. On some gearshifts I get a loud crack sometimes too. :evilgrin:

WOT box + De-cat and you'll have all the flames and bangs your after..

min does it when i change gears especially if im dropping gears fast ian ive only got a wee k03

When my exhaust is very hot it pops and farts on lift off. Also does it when the traction control kicks in! :evilgrin:

I've often wondered this I have to say. Thing is with the VXR's etc, they do it without the need for de-cat etc.. :confused:
Not that I would ever swap mind.. :grin: But they do sound good.. :drool:

Cant say I've noticed anything from mine but our supercharged cooper s pops on gear changes at all speeds and any time you lift off the throttle - All good fun, certainly gets some looks :laugh:
