Looking to upgrade my out of date standard unit for a Carplay unit with DAB without breaking the bank after Christmas.
Any advice or anyone selling one I would be interested
Thank you :happy2: :happy2:

I’ve had a look but it confuses me on what one is the correct one and firmware updates seem to be hit and miss.
Any advice on the RCD330 would be appreciated, are they dab aswell

no DAB on the RCD330.
I believe any version other than "RevE" has been hacked to have all the latest features. RevE comes with car play and android auto from the factory and mine has been flawless over the 6 months or so I've had it.

Thank you for the advice, I do like the standard kit look of it but I do like to listen to DAB radio stations which is a shame.
I think i will have to look at aftermarket ones.

There's a new budget Sony unit XAV-1000, it supports carplay but not android auto.

I’m being drawn to a Kenwood 7017dabs unit. Does anyone have this and any advice :happy2:

Try the Pioneer SPH-DA130DAB, I have the non-dab version since I don't listen to the radio anyway, but the non-dab is a very good radio.
