There the people that supply our mapping gear... all the maps have to be found and developed by the user tho... hence why you wont find many companies using them.

Ah right, a guy walked into our office this morning who is offering remaps using Dimsport software, a company called Kudos Technical in Huddersfield. He said he'd remap my Golf for £270.

Ah right,
More than likely it will just be a map thats had everything raised say 10% from the standard map! Its highly likely that it will have never of been near a rolling road to be developed

So probably not worth it then?

not necessarily. You pays ya money, you take your choice. Jabbasport use Dimsport software for all their remaps.

But like others have said, if its being sold by an individual mapper with no facilities, then its highly likely to be a generic map.

At least if you buy it from the big names they can tinker with the settings to make it suit your driving style / car etc. But then you pay more for the privilege obviously.

dont want to go of on a tangent but, phil according to nick their maps are done with the RR and custom. if i didnt want the adjustability of what i have then i would seriously consider Rtech.

I have since told that by Rich ,nick, but the way their torque kicks in, doesnt give you the " kick" in your seat which is for me the best bit. Theie maps are on simular to an R32's powerband, more linear and less servere. Not for me, but quite possibly suits others :happy2:
