Title: Ibis White S3 3dr - Facelift
Post by: JPC on February 18, 2010, 05:03:20 pm
Hello there guys,

First off, this aint my car! im just playing with it!  :popcornsoda: Its within my dads company, seperate to Miglior Detailing Ltd.

Anywho....

Its a 2010 Ibis White S3 that was unregistered up until 17.02.10. We could have waited to have it Reg'd as a "10" reg, but they knocked a further £500 to shift it on!

The Spec is as follows.

Ibis White
Black/Silver silk leather (thats what they call it!)
DSG
Black Optics back (black grill outside and piano black trim inside)
RNS-E Plus iPod Prep
Full Bluetooth
Bose
Reversing Sensors (with the screen on the RNS i think too)

think thats it?

We all know what one looks standard....

Now Sporting some MTM Wheels courtesy of Mr Butler! fitted two new tyres too

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fmiglior.co.uk%2Fimages%2Fforum%2Fs3%2Fwhites32.jpg&hash=1cbd7694f9506b8282f1c3e3c810c9a5b7b82c80)

I forgot to take a good pic of the interior, but it will be in for a detail in the next few days! ;)

Plans for the future, as in, next week are as follows.

Blueflame Turbo Back Custom scaffolding!  :signLOL:

ITG K04 Maxogen

Revo Stage 2 and SPS+ switch

(possible DSG map)

The Exhaust is going on on monday

and the Revo is wednesday!

Bring it on!!

Of course what we here from our exhausts is all subjective, what sounds good to one person, is noise to the next. I love my custom quad carbon milltek and everyone who gets in my car also loves it as much.

OOOOps thought i was Robin for a moment when someone mentioned another brand.

Btw it's a 100 cell cat I'm having put on ;)

Just had a nice big parcel on my desk with ITG written all over it. That will get put in the boot ready for Wednesday when it's revo stg 2 time!

Jay,
Just make sur ethat you get the Select Plus switch and not the standard SPS, you will regret it if you don't. An remember, that you can get these cheap within the first 30 days of purchase of the original map. (If you have not already got it, which I suspect you may have )

I didnt think it would take me this long to get this up here, but anyways....here is a quick detail. The main problem was protection.

Its foolish to think an unprotected white car will do anymore than 50 miles without picking up sh1tloads of tar and other gunk! ;)

I thought id do a quick post in here, rather than clog up the detailing section with another write up! ;)

So here how she is looking before the job!

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.miglior.co.uk%2Fimages%2Fdetailed%2F513%2Fresize%2F1.jpg&hash=207122874ffd77941a52424973af96e2da930186)

After a wash, you can see the tar i was talking about! the car had done about 500 miles at this point!
