Hi there
Ive been meaning to get to this for some time but Im trying to get the ol' boy running right again.
Its felt like its needed some tlc for some time now and would rather avoid selling since it isn't in bad condition to look at, however leaves a lot to be desired to drive. Feels almost as if its running in economy mode or something!
Its seems to be running inconsistently, ie sometimes boosts and pulls nicely and sometimes feels flat judders sometimes after a longer run on idle.
Ive had a few codes pop up occasionally relating to Incorrect Purge Flow and Manifold runner flap errors. Ive also noticed as of late it uses more fuel. Seems to sometimes boost better with A/C on strangely? Thermostat also stays open slightly sometimes in colder weather but not sure if that would have much affect.
No DV leak symptoms either?
New batch of oil currently in there and along with timing chain, tensioner and cam belt which were replaced in the last year and a half or so.
Is there anything serviceable that I should replace with the hope of getting it running smoothly without potentially wasting money? No other error codes seen on a scan despite the ones I've mentioned. Maybe spark plugs, injectors or just replace with a new DV anyway?
Or do the two issues mentioned have a big enough affect on performance to ignore?

The runner flaps can cause issues if they are stuck shut/partially open.

Would it necessarily make it judder slightly on idle. Yet again had the Evaporators code pop up again too.
Also curious to know as to why A/C would make the car feel like its boosting properly

Did you found the issue? DV should only give problems on holding boost. Maybe try irridium plugs? Like the BKR7EIX
