Title: Wing mirror delete blank?

I'm considering fitting material.wing mirror to my golf. Did the mk5 ever come with wing mirror blanks that fit where the mirror attaches to the outside of the door, like the mk1 and mk2s Did?

Im fairly sure every Golf since the Mk3 has come with 2 mirrors so any blank would have to be custom made.
