Hey guys. New to this forum. I’m looking to purchase mk5 Golf GTI. Max mileage 100k, auto & 5 door. No silver or white body colour. If you are selling one or know anyone selling one. Please reply to this post. Thanks in advance :D

plenty on ebay/autotrader/gumtree ranging from £3k for rubbish to £6-7k for low mileage cherished cars... depends what you want to spend and what spec is important to you.
-
Unless like me you have a son in the trade. I picked up my big standard one owner from new FVWSH 08 GTI for £1800

Mint car, leather DSG and lots of other options (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190502/7a810e9aa42da21ec4f7fc64146a6c39.jpg)

That’s a steal at that price!!!!

It is and I love it. Now Revo STG2 30mm H&R lowering springs and a load of other mods. Bought it as my daily driver to allow me to keep mileage down on my 800hp CLS63 AMG S

I walked past a 2005 honda Civic last night for sale at 1500 and thought that was a good deal :signLOL:
-
Def a bargin , almost sounds to cheap, would have thought £5000 on a forecourt.
Still more fun to drive than the Merc I bet :happy2:

The guy traded it in for a New SQ5. My son is a Sales exec at Audi and whilst I wasn't looking to get a daily driver, but i couldn't turn this down as it's so so clean and drove like a new car . Got it on 23rd Feb, and since then I've done 200 miles in the Merc!!!!
He basically stole it from the guy but gave him a rather healthy discount on the SQ5 :congrats:

Oh yes, and certainly in the car trade!!! A few pics of mods done. I said I’d leave it standard but more chance of sh*tting on the moon

1, full underbody, subframe de-rust, coated with cure rust and fully undersealed, Arch liners removed and inner wings jet washed and undersealed. Calipers repainted (they will be removed in a few weeks as I've got new drilled discs & pads to fit, so will give a good clean and strip and repaint in red.
2, Engine bay fully steam cleaned and detailed
3, DSG oil & filter change, Full major service & also a Terraclean done to clean valves/ports
4, R32 rear lower bumper fitted with twin centre Tailpipe exit & Maxton R32 rear zorst box fitted, with centre resenator box deleted.
5, H&R 30mm lowering springs fitted with 12/15mm wheel spacers
6, rear tyres changed to Michillen PS4s Rears were on the front (Falkens) so they are now on rears as loads of tread
7, Wheels re furbished by Wheelworks in Mystic grey
8, OEM Colour coded side skirts and front OEM lower valance fitted to pick up with the colour coded rear lower bumper. F/R parking sensors fitted, reversing camera fitted
9, Xtrons Android head unit fitted. Ultra slick unit and touch screen with Nav/Wifi etc etc
10, Bespoke Xenon/LED headlights fitted. Had these made up by a guy i met when i had my RS4 and he used RS6 projectors - They are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bright!!!!! He also supplied me LED spotlight bulbs, and a full set of LEDs for the interior, which has made a huge difference!!
11, Leather/Alcantara flat-bottom steering wheel fitted with red stitching, together with Bespoke Alcantara airbag with VW badge. Edition 30 gear knob/surround with red stitching fitted. Brushed steel dash and door trims covered in matching black Alcantara.
12, Full set of OEM GTI floor mats fitted. Interior fully detailed and deep clean carried out. Not that it needed it but i enjly doing this!!!
13, Bodywork has been heavily polished to highlight areas that need re painting. In essence front end and wings could do with a re paint, and a couple of small dinks that my dent man will sort. Also little scuff on o/s rear bumper will be sorted.
14, New Revision G diverter valve fitted. I did notice when I collected it that it wasn't pulling well at all, and these DVs are a common problem. I fitted that the next day and Jeeze it was a HUGE difference. Also found a boost leak that my VCDS/VAGCOM s/w detected, so replaced the pipe. I doubt that VW would have even looked at this when it was serviced, hence why i use an Independent VW specialist for tuning & servicing.
15, Revo STG2 ECU & TCU maps, Scorpian 75mm de cat DP, and center pipe. Now pushing out 282hp, 368tq. New s/w being loaded, but thats more for TQ adjustments.
16, DSG black brushed aluminum paddles fitted.
Thats it - LOL. The car is, for an 11-year-old 130k miles amazing. Its flys along with pops and cracks and the up/down shifts Parps are excellent. A great daily driver and since I've had it I've hardly driven my merc!!!!

OH FORGOT!!!!! Retro Fitted Criuse control. £15 for the OEM stalk and coded myself using VCDS

Can't believe that was £1800! It's in superb condition. Some folk are more jammy than Tesco's entire conserves aisle.
-
How much you spent on it tho. £1800 sale price plus what?
-
LOL
Couldn’t turn it down, and so glad I bought it. I’m considering a K04 upgrade, but for now will use as is. Revo STG2 has transformed the car from a hot to Hotter Hatch

Dunno, but wanted it as my daily so being a serial modder coat wasn’t an issue. All I’ve done I’m really happy with. Apart from K04 upgrade (unlikely) it’s as I want it. Coming from a long line of high performance cars and also with my 801hp CLS63 AMG S I needed to feel special when driving it

Those quick jacks are awesome by the way :happy2: I really want one but they're a bit too pricey still at the moment!

Pudding
Yeah absolute lifesaver. Goes up 55ins, so more than enough to work on comfortably. Paid 1k for it but split with my son as he uses for his drift cars

You've no idea how much you've spent on it? I'm guessing way more than 2k so basically it's cost you 4k+ in total?

The previous owner would have been far better off selling it privately and going on a website to buy his Audi. And car salesman wonder why they get Slagged off! Go figure!
