Evenin all,
So yesterday I tried my hand at tring to get rid of the previous owners (bought at about 8 months old). Got to say looked alot better felt smoother. Didn't really as money is tight used a fine cutting compound and then autoglym resin (what we had in the garage!)just looked at it under the street light and it's got swirl patterns on the bonnet following the patterns I went with the rotary,I know it's a bot vague but it's on my mind, what am I doing wrong?

What you have got there is trail marks where you either used too harsh a compound or pad and/or didn't break the polish down properly. It will need following up with a much finer polish and more care taking generally

Ok mate, thankyou for that, don't know whether to leave it to the experts.things are a bit tight at the mo

I can understand you wanting to have a go yourself but iwouldnt recommend trying major correction with a rotary.
I don't wanna do the hard sell etc, but you know where I am if you need me.
Cheers ;)
