Title: GTI Kerb Weight

@Shoduchi (https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=10590) I can't remember the thread where we discussed the weight of a GTI/ED30, but I just remembered to look in my ED30 supplement in the handbook.

The Manual weighs 1357Kg without driver  :smiley:  VW's weigh-in method includes half a tank of fuel and all fluids.

Also note the comment 'b' about using 95 Ron fuel as I know it comes up quite often on here :happy2:

I know mine is far from stock but I had it on scales twice. The first time it was on a big lorry scale which had a error of +/-20 kg. With 3/4 of the tank it weighed 1440 kg, without the driver.

A couple of years later I got it on corner balancing scales and, with about 1/2 a tank, it weighed 1445 kg, without the driver.

Can you get yours on a scale to see what it weights?
