Title: Mk5 1.4s automatic lights retrofit????????

Ok I know a Mk 5 1.4s 3 door is not a gti but does anyone know if it it possible to retro fit the upgraded headlight dash switch to add the functionality of auto lights and if so is it a simple swop or more complex and not worth the bother job??????

You can buy the aftermarket kit on eBay. Search "golf Mk5 auto headlights". It's a replacement headlight switch with a sensor attached. You pop the old headlight switch out, put the new one in, and run the sensor to the top of the dashboard.
Leave your new headlight switch on auto, then when the sensor detects low light it'll turn on the headlights
