not sure if right section but here goes
here are the rs4's i bought for 200 notes with shocking tyres off pistonheads.
the gobshi#e told me they were et43 and dozyballs here didnt check with his enthusiasm to get going untill i had stripped and smmothed the first wheel to discover they were et33 and were no way in hell gonna fit the car.
pi##ed off and scared of the GF finding out id been tucked up good and proper i quickly checked with you guys and ordered a proper set off ebay which should arrive today..
the idea is to spray these gunmetal or darker to match the carbon bits i have on already with a complete facelift(as soon as blueflame get their ars into gear) and more carbon to follow
so here is the state of the first wheel i started-oops i forgot to do all the wheels but they were pretty nackered-another thing the seller veered from truthwise!¬ :fighting:

there will be some nicks and chips that i just cant remove by hand and as these will just be sold on ebay its not that much of a worry... but if the next set are ok to start with-then the finish should be unreal
so guys?
what yareckon then?
will the finish be upto forum standards?
will the colour match my black gti and carbon?
should i just shut the door on my way out?..... be gentle this really is my first ever project-other than a shockingly bad enging cover. :sad1:

The colour is hard to see tbh, roll them up next to your ride :happy2:
they don't look too dark which is a good thing, black rims on a black car can look a little lost sometimes
-
Going to look great on a black GTI.
I agree with VC don't like black rims on a black car.
Just about to start on some Monza IIs going for a titanium colour with a black GTI.
Not what you want to hear, but you can always re-spray if you don't like the colour. You have already done the hard work.

for the sake of £50 a wheel i d get the new ones done properly , rattle can paint wont last long and the finnish will be loads better with powder coat :happy2:
