I've been attempting to install my anti-lift kit today.
Videos online just show it sliding on and putting the bolts into the subframe. I slide mine on but the bolt holes in the ALk, don't line up with the subframe. It must be at least 5 mm out. Its feels like the kit should slide further onto the control arm, but I've checked it off the car and it's on as far as it will go. This was with new alloy arms, tried it again with the old steel arms, It seems closer but still now the way the bolts will go in.
I've checked I've got the correct kit. Has anyone else had trouble?

Update if anyone is interested. I got these on in the end. They would not go on with the Passat alloy arms with Powerflex front bush. Standard steel arm and front bush, when on although still tight.
If anyone wants a set of Alloy control arms with Powerflext front bushes in them let me know. I'll put them up on the for sale section soon.

Strange....
I fitted them on mine with alloy arms

Likewise, shame they didn't fit. Can't shed any light on why they might not have gone on though. I had my car on axle stands on the cills. Did you maybe just have it jacked up from a different point under the car? Maybe put pressure on the geometry?

I got so frustrated with it, in the end, I dropped the subframe, so no issues with where it was supported.
You can see how far out it was here, I think it must be down to the powerflex in the front of the control arm not having enough play to get the other end into position, that was the only variable I couldn't change to test.

Alloy arm and standard bush alignment is good

Steel arm with WALk, I'll leave it like that. Not had the tracking done yet, but I can already feel its much tighter

Had the same issue with the SuperPro ALK on Passat alloy arms. Just needs a bit more levering and fudging but it gets there in the end. It is typical aftermarket crap though. Nothing fits like OEM, period.
