Title: Car won’t start - any help please

Folks - anyone experience this and can offer advice please?
Stock DSG GTI running fine today and driving it home got a call. Stopped the car and now won’t restart .
Lights come on on dash but I don’t hear the fuel pump and nowt happens when I turn the key. I replaced the battery about 6_8 months ago and car started fine a few times today.
Can anyone help?

Perhaps you've triggered the immobiliser, try locking it and leaving it for a few minutes to reset itself and then try again.

If it is the immo then it will say “immobilizer active” on the cluster and the key sign will flash
