Title: Air Con leak

Hi guys,

My air con doesn’t work. I tried having it regarded last summer and was told they couldn’t do it (maybe a leak). Didn’t bother going any further with it then but I’m driving to Glastonbury this week so don’t want to be stuck in traffic with no air con. It’s booked in for tomorrow but I’m just wondering if anyone can shed some light on what may be wrong? When I put it on the lowest setting slightly cold air comes through but no where near air con cold. Certainly isn’t cold enough for 20 degrees+ weather. Could it be the compressor? Just a bit concerned about it costing a fortune. Hopefully it’s just a leak.

Mine all leaked out through the condenser. I noticed the oil running down it when I had the bumper off to do another job. The Part was about £100 and only a few bolts to swap over.

Hopefully its something like that

Just had the dreaded news that it’s the compressor. If anyone knows a trustworthy, reliable place to get a used one that works I’d appreciate it
