So, i'm interested in selling my car but don't know what to pitch it at. Sorry if this is annoying, but I genuinely have no idea.
The car is well looked after. Oil, filter, sparks & so forth changed by me every 4-5K.

I would be pitching around 7K but can’t see the paintwork close up for any damage, dings ,scrapes etc to confirm ,all also the interior condition :happy2:
-
The paintwork is pretty immaculate for it's age, but i'm sure everyone says that. It does have stone chips on the bonnet/wings, but no dents or scrapes to speak of.
For a pitch at 7K, I may end up selling all the extras such as the RNS, MFSW, Bluetooth, Polar FIS B.T separately then.

I've got a Parrot BT MKI9200 which I removed from my GTi when I installed an Andriod touchscreen Headunit. Minus the LCD controller but all other parts to hand if you're interested?

The car is located up north - near Liverpool or Chester.
I haven't a clue what it's worth though.

Looks like a nice car from the pictures with a good spec
If it is an 08 or 58 plate and advertised for about what ssteve said but wasnt the total opposite end of the country to me id be round for a viewing.
Good luck, it really does look a good example :happy2:
-
TBH if I cant find anything nice soon I'll be thinking about coming up anyway
-
I'll put an advert up when it's ready to go.
Always the way isn't it? I remember trying to find a nice MKII and they always seemed to be 300-400 miles away.

I'd be pitching that at 8K STANDARD, expecting to settle on 7.5K. Sell all the mods on separately. They really don't earn you anything at all at resale time. Leave the brakes and APR map on, but switch it back to standard power. Most buyers will do that stuff anyway. Put some new OEM brake lines on. Braided ones are a bit chavvy and pointless on a road car, imo. You just want to avoid any kind of suspicion in buyers it's been 'raced' and thrashed around.
What a shame! I thought you had a bit more staying power! What are you thinking of getting next?
