Title: Airbag light on

 air bag light on fault showed " 01578 - Airbag -off- indicator lamp, frt.pass. side Open circuit/short circuit to groun Active"

Now it may be a coincidence but I changed the hazard switch to a cherry red and having left it overnight I'm getting the above code on the dash.. Can't be that unlucky can i

sounds like you've disconnected the cable under the top vent/tray  Retrace what you did when fitting the air bag light
