Title: Orange steering light!!

My steering light keeps coming on and off and loosing power steering.
Only happens atm when I’m on a spirited drive, quick change in direction etc and light will come in and lose power.
Any ideas fellas? I had a recon rack fitted a few months ago

Electric steering so there's no fluid. Could be a loose power (electrical) connection.

Be careful as if/when it stops working the steering is horrendous with no power, it's not like a non pas rack from the olden days.

Yeah thought about a loose connection, but I don’t think you can see without dropping subframe

I’ve just done a scan with Carista.
00778 steering angle sensor (g85)
00446 fuction limitation due to under voltage .

Is it possible the battery could be on way out?
