Title: Tyre pressure warning light ........ problem
Post by: NDGTI on August 02, 2019, 06:50:17 pm
Hi all
My warning light never came on !
My wife was driving around with front drivers side tyre near enough flat, but she didn’t realise because no light warned her.....
I’ve fully inflated it, all ok , but worried now

Gti's don't have tpms sensors' they use the abs system to measure the rolling circumference of the wheel. If one wheel is rotating faster than the others it assumes that the tyre is deflated more than the rest.
