My Recently departed Fiat coop 20vt modded with Adrian Flux £272.
They just quoted me £377 for a standard gti t200.
Apparently it might be cheaper if I get it modded. Go figure
Oh well off to my local insurer in town tomorrow.
I guess i'm not a boy racer at 54!!

I am 67 got stage 1 Admiral quoted £170

Shop around.... AF tried to f*ck me about a few years back so they will never get a penny from me ever again

You could try HIC but they are owned by Adrian Flux now.
If the car isn't modified try the comparison sites and pick the cheapest reputable company.
-
Greenlight have looked after me very well for several years now and David there is a real car enthusiast. I wouldn’t touch Flux with a bargepole.
-
Another A Flux detractor
-
My experience of Flux was that it was rather impersonal / corporate and ran a business model whereby they quoted competitively to win new business but ramped up the premium on renewal.
-
Ha ha, thanks for the input everyone, the local face to face broker in town did it £222.
As a footnote AF said they would refund me my last month on the coop. £3.40 was the offer.
Picking the car up tomorrow if it's good.
-
Another vote for greenlight, been very good for me for over 10 years.
-
I use the comparison sites every year without fail. And every year I get a better deal.

I paid hic just over 400 last year. Car has a few mods.

673 on a mk6 GTD - I'm 34 with a clean license. Feel like I'm getting ripped off as in was paying less than 500 on my MK5 GTI!
Apparnelty it's because it's a newer car 🙄
