Title: Rear Boot Spoiler Options/Recommendations

Folks, I'm considering my options for changing the OEM colour coded boot spoiler with something different.

Struggling to find anything... interested in what is out there (with web links), thanks!

P.S. I'd like to retain the rear brake light in the boot spoiler.

Something expensive, sir?

Something extravagent, sir?

Something carbonfibre, sir?

TTshop could offer you an OSIR carbon roof spoiler. Hurdy has a very cool silver carbon one on his silver Edition30.

Undecided...but I know I don't want carbon fibre... it's not keeping with the rest of the car at the moment.

Style-wise - nothing crazy...but understated/subtle...

As TC says, anything other than the oem roof spoiler is going to be struggling extremely hard indeed to look "understated/subtle", imo.

I think the Mk6 GTI spoiler might be a fraction bigger but even that is noticeable.

Will a Mk6 GTI roof spoiler fit the Mk5? The rear window is different so I don't expect so.

It may not be what you want but..

Google will probably throw up manufacturers like Caractere and you could also check Awesome's site.

Don't get me wrong but you're as bad as Joe! I like to help but not wet-nurse - This is something you could have found so easily yourself, mate.

Anyway, I hope it's at least a start and that you'll post anything new the rest of us haven't seen.

Also, I think (but am not sure) you can get a plastic version from OSIR which would be cheaper.

And it probably won't fit? (ala front mask according to a lot of reports)
