Title: Hesitancy while driving
Post by: kodirl on October 26, 2019, 08:41:39 pm
Hey folks. I have had a lot of work
done recently on my GTI but I'm noticing that when driving on the motorway it seems to jump maybe 100-200revs for a second before going back down. This happens across the rev range and even when I have the cruise control on . It is very annoying to say the least as the car speeds up ever so slightly and then slows down and repeats the process. Has any one any idea what could be causing this?

Does this happen at idle?

No. Only when it's on the move.

What intake and what are your fuel trims? Sounds like an air leak to me, PCV could possibly be faulty

Data logging with VCDS (or similar) is the next step
