I said I could get a mint ed30 for that money or even a facelift Audi s3 8p if I looked hard enough and he messaged back and said “go and buy one then, my car would cost you well over £10,000 to build. The turbo kit and remap alone cost me £4500”

I’m pretty sure you can do a ko4 conversion for a lot less than that.
