Title: OIL PICK UP PIPE RUST?

Hi,

I have just bought a brand new oil pick up pipe from AKS tuning, but it looks like it has rust around the top part is that normal. Can I go ahead and use this part.

How do upload a picture to show you guys?

Clean it with a wire brush

Sure it's not just brazing?  It's normally a copper coloured weld/braze.

Doesn't matter if it is rust anyway as it will be submersed in oil  :happy2:

thanks for the replies.

just got in contact with the AKS they have stated it's just coating coming off and not rust.
