Title: 8 x 18" rs4 reps....225 or 235 width tyres???

Hi, ive purchased some 8 x 18" new shape rs4 reps for my good ladys tdi, just wondering what width tyre to go with to give the kerbs and pot holes that she will no doubt 'caress' once or twice a fair fighting chance?  :scared:

225/40/18 or 235s?

Either would be fine, I would stick with the OEM size of 225 probably myself.

225 is oem size but 235 should be ok if your not lowering the car

Thanks, will probably opt for 225 as they are slightly cheaper to buy than 235s. Will maybe lower a bit given the chance, only 35-40mm.
