Title: brake pads/fluid
Post by: candy turbo on January 03, 2009, 03:15:23 pm: had a call from my dealer this morning to say my edition 30 was due for brake fluid replacement and would cost Ã‚Â£68 asked if they would fit new pads while they did it and he said no problem now i dont drive my car as hard as some you lot , so i was thinkling of getting red stuff pads all round , any experience or opinions please guys ??????????? :happy2:

and maybe some of these as they come with the sensor from what i can see

Isn't it very important to make sure that whatever pad you intend to use, it's compatible and has been tested with your particular disc?

For example, AP Racing only recommend the Ferodo DS2500 with their discs on my car. It's well proven and tested.

pads fine at 18000m
but needed a pair of tyres, conti's, but replaced with PZERO

not sure on the number but the ds pads i looked at were designed for the standard discs , think they are softer material so they dont wear standard discs prematurely i think !
