Hi does anyone have a link for a how to guide for main thermostat replacement on ED30?

Thanks is this applicable to the Ed30 as I believe mine only has a main stat?

That article is for the main stat, I think you will just have to move some additional stuff to gain access.

Does anyone know what the torque figures are for thermostat housing bolts?

I think they're skinny little M5 bolts from memory, in which case they're usually tightened to 10lbft.

Had mine done recently. Couple of hours labour, not the pretiest of jobs lol

Not pretty but it's a lot easier than say, a cambelt, clutch, timing chain, turbo, intercooler etc  :smiley:

Changed my Cam belt and thermostat last night bearing in mind I used a four poster ramp with my mechanic friend helping it took us 12 hours, the thermostat was a nightmare.... Now I've done it once would prob be a lot quicker next time!! The engine mount is a pain in the a..e too..
