Post by: bow4444 on January 16, 2020, 10:57:01 pm
Hi
New member looking for help.
I have a 2006 MK5 with a problem.
Every drive, usually after accelerating or braking I get a whole load of lights on the dash. ABS, Tyre Pressure, Traction, ESP light on centre consul.
When I turn key off it clears temporarily.
I have been told maybe ABS ring ?
Help required urgently.
Thank you

I had something similar happen to me a while back when I had my GTI and it turned out to be the my rear wheel bearings that was on the way out. But as others say do a scan first and it will pinpoint your problem.

I too had a similar issue last summer after having both a new rear wheel bearing and a cv boot fitted. It turned out to be the steering angle sensor code, since one front wheel was out of alignment. Suggest getting it scanned (even Carista is fine) to identify the issue. After I had the wheels realigned, the light soon went out.
