Title: Rough idle ??
Post by: w357yuk on January 19, 2020, 11:07:09 pm
Car runs rough on idle lately,  been googling and see it could be failed PCV?

I have taken dipstick out and seems to run lumpy?

Also taken oil cap off which has alot of vacuum when trying to take it off and also runs lumpy?

Iv unplugged the MAF sensor and seems to run ok and gave it a test drive and drive ok?
Gave that a clean with air flow cleaner but still no change, managed to plug it into my mates snap on code reader today and for the following codes:

You’ve got an air leak somewhere down stream of the maf sensor. Pulling the dip stick car run lumpy mean your pcv is working perfectly.
