Can't be done with Direct injection engines.  Too long and boring to explain why.  Granny it instead if mpg is a massive concern!

If you're worried about MPG, a GTI isn't fot you. they're not over bad as is, what do you get 30/35?

the cost far outweighs the gains, cost of conversion? £2,000? still use 15/20 litres of petrol (£20-£25)per tank, LPG (£0.65P/L, 50L so £32.50ish) you'll so to run a tanks worth of LPG the cost would be about £50.00 - £55.00 apposed to £70 (£1.30 P/L) for 95oct or £80 for likes of shell nitro+

youll save about £20 a tank, so 100 tanks to break even.

Not with the standard fuelling system you can't.  You'd need additional injectors, and how do you mount those into the stock intake exactly?

Of course it will need other injectors fitted, i didnt doubt it
i was just wondering if anyone had a conversion, i already knew it could be done.
