Well the dv valve made a big difference, now new rubber on the front, a new thermostat and a pcv valve and it's a new car again.
The tyres are Vredestein satins which are dead quiet and grip like mad and have stopped a lot of wheelspin.
The engine heats up to 90 very quickly and the power delivery is much smoother.
I might not even get it mapped now.........or should I?
It is so much more fun than when I bought it a few months ago.

Definitely get it mapped :happy2:
Out of curiosity, how much did the thermostat cost to change? Need mine doing soon!

I don't know mate as there was other work done and I havn't had the bill yet. Apparently it's a bit off a pain to get to.
Get a genuine one though.
Its worth doing as the ecu isn't getting the correct temp sent to it and will put too much fuel in the mix, which is not good.

Parts and probably a couple of hours labour.
I paid £95 supplied and fitted but work in the car trade.
