Won't unlock getting fault codes 001553 & 00929 so i need a 2005 3 Dr passenger door locking mechanism any ideas where to buy please

You can take the chance and buy a china module, i have one that worked for a month, and another that has worked for 3 years now..

Hey LD, you got 3 choices..

Genuine (TPS or Dealer)
Ebay cheapy
Second hand genuine

Are the 5 door the same locks as a 3dr on the front passenger

I was quoted £40 at VW main dealer

They're a lot more than £40 from VW. More like £180! I got a bit of trade discount and paid about £150.

My mistake I was talking about the the actuator!!
