Hi All,
New here mk5 lover own a few but was looking for some advice on subtle mods for the exterior/interior. Any help would be appreciated.
I will post pics once I work out how  :grin:

Just got some yellow fog tints in from the US for my new ED30, looking at upgrading the head unit to an android auto touchscreen also.

Hi mate yes I was thinking of doing the fog lights yellow ish as I seen them somewhere before.
I done the head unit in mine defo worth it nice touch

Still don't know how to post picture lol help??

I got an Edition 30 a couple months back and have done a few subtle bits to it:

Chrome tipped MK6 interior switches
Edition 30 badge under the GTI badge on the front grill
MK7 Rear badge
GTI seat lever badges
Smoked mirror indicators
LED interior lights
Cherry red hazard switch
Stubby aerial

All fairly cheap and simple mods to give you a few ideas  :smiley:

ED30 doesn't need any exterior mods. VW got that 100% spot-on at the factory. 

As for the interior, knock yourself out.  All manner of MK6/MK7 bits will bolt right in, although personally speaking, I prefer a car to be in period and original.  I don't get the whole MK7 steering wheel and key on a MK5 thing.  Just buy a MK7??

What you can do is fit MK6 chrome tipped window and headlight switches and leave it at that.  I think newer steering wheels and climate panels just look out of place vs the rest of the interior, imo.

Ah yes that will be a nice touch. But what do yous guys do about behind them because it's a bit ugly behind there. I mean as in do yous paint it or get something to cover it up a bit to hide the washer bottle etc?

They come with a cover on one side and a vent on the other you don’t see anything behind
