Title: MAF removal

Is it as simple as removing the 2 torx bits and pulling it out? Mine doesnt want to come out  :scared:

Any help appreciated, im mid intake fitment  :signLOL:

Yup pretty much!

It may be a bit tight if the engine is warm but once the screws are out it should just slide out!  :happy2:

Should be pal. Just give it a wiggle around in the housing and it should break it free.

It wont come out! It slides out about 5mm then stops, if i look inside at the maf sensor i can see a metal ridge in the design that looks like it fouling the slot  :fighting:

Is it very sensitive, am i going to damage it?

It is possible to just unclip the cable to get things out the way and allow them to cool down.

Once the torx screws are out it should slide out quite nicely.  Like Hedge said - unclip the MAF first then you should be able to get at it more easily.  Try gently rocking it up and down as you are pulling it out if it is catching.
