Walking towards the car earlier i noticed 3 "run's" where liquid of some sort had trickled out from around the fog light and down the bumper below.
There was no extreme mositure, maybe just evidence of a little bit under the fog.
Anyone heard of anything similar or know what liquid could be in that immediate area?

Just had a search of the forum and it seems a coolant leak is a common fault on the GTi.
Are there any coolant hoses near the passenger fog light area!?
I know nothing about the engine lay out. Didnt have a torch to examine it any further either.

Is there any colour or smeel to it ?, do you have washers on the headlights ?, and are you sure a cat hasnt just pi**ed up your car, you may laugh but i get one doing it alot LOL

Lol, that was my first thought too. However there was no target area that air-bourne piss appeared to have hit, just 3 run's emerging from under th light.
No washer jets.
DIdn't appear to have a colour, and didnt smell it too closely!

Could be just the overflow from the A/C it comes out around the wheel arch usually to the back of the drivers front arch but you never know.
